A Dongguan City-based business called Ridmii has developed a line of remotely controllable sex robots.

The app-controlled sex robot is expensive, though; customers must pay $1,899 (£1,400) just for the doll.

There are 22 different types of the app-controlled doll, and each one costs $1,199 (£1,000).

Customers can select dolls with various eye colors, hairstyles, and skin tones, or even one that is meant to seem like an elf.


The ability to operate these dolls through an app, however, is what truly distinguishes them from other sex robots.

The app, Mutuafun, pairs with the doll using Bluetooth and is accessible on the App Store and Google Play Store.

According to the App Store description, "With this App, you can enjoy the endless pleasure in any place and any time to explore more thrilling experiences."

The software also has a chat room where the ten participants can communicate throughout sessions.

Although cybersecurity experts have expressed worries over the safety of connected sex robots, Ridmii hopes the sex robot will be a pleasant prop for couples.
