Israel launches strikes on two Yemen ports
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promises more strikes if the group continues to launch attacks on Israel.
Days after the Houthi rebels reached a truce with the United States, Israel claims it has struck the Yemeni ports of Hodeidah and as - Salif in retaliation for the rebels' missile attacks against Israel. The attacks are "just the beginning," according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also called the Houthis "just a tool" and said that Iran was "behind them."
"We won't just watch helplessly as the Houthis do us harm. In a message shared on the government's social media accounts, he declared, "We will strike them with greater force, including at their leadership and all the infrastructure that enables them to attack us."
If Houthi commander Abdel-Malik al-Houthi persisted in "firing missiles at the State of Israel," Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz promised to "hunt down and eliminate" him.
