when I discovered RCB Vijay Mallya's post about RCB winning the
IPL 2025 title is not to be missed.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final on Tuesday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ended an 18-year drought by defeating the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and winning the trophy for the first time ever. The RCB final had the honor of taste success after being ridiculed and humiliated for years of failed T20 league appearances despite being one of the most popular teams. When Vijay Mallya, the team's former owner and fugitive, expressed his thoughts on the elusive victory, social media as a whole erupted.
The driving force behind RCB is Vijay Mallya, who acquired the team in 2008 during the T20 league's debut season. Mallya had the privilege of selecting Virat Kohli for the squad. Mallya has helped the team acquire players like Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers throughout the years.
Gayle and De Villiers were among those who attended the event to share in the occasion with Kohli as he raised the IPL trophy.
"After eighteen years, RCB has finally won the IPL. Outstanding campaign via the 2025 competition. Playing Bold is a well-rounded team with excellent coaching and support personnel. Many congrats! On X (previously Twitter), Mallya wrote, "Ee sala cup namde!!" to congratulate RCB on their win.
Mallya stated in a different post: "It was my hope when I started RCB that Bengaluru would host the IPL trophy. As a child, I had the honor of selecting the renowned King Kohli, and it is astounding that he has remained with the RCB for eighteen years. Additionally, I had the privilege of selecting Mr. 360 AB DeVillers and Chris Gayle, the Universe Boss, who will always be a part of RCB history. The IPL trophy finally makes its way to Bengaluru. Once again, congratulations and many thanks to everyone who helped me realize my ambition. The IPL trophy should go to the best RCB supporters. "Ee Sala Cup baruthe Bengaluru!"
My aim when I started RCB was for Bengaluru to host the IPL trophy. As a child, I had the honor of selecting the renowned King Kohli, and it is astounding that he has remained with the RCB for eighteen years. Additionally, I got the privilege of choosing Chris Gayle, the Universe Boss.
